As the Full-Cycle Healthcare Recruiter, you will manage the end-to-end hiring process for nurses and

caregivers. From job posting through day-one onboarding, you will serve as the primary driver of the

candidate experience, ensuring our Miami team is staffed with highly qualified, compliant, and

compassionate professionals.

This hybrid role is ideal for a high-volume recruiter who knows Miami’s healthcare landscape, thrives on accountability, and has the integrity to represent Family First in a market where trust and professionalism set us apart. This role will also support field recruiting efforts in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

RECRUITMENT & CANDIDATE MANAGEMENT

  • Own the full recruiting cycle: post jobs, source candidates, screen, interview, and manage offers.

  • Partner with the Clinical Manager in Miami to incorporate clinical expertise into hiring decisions.

  • Drive candidate pipeline management, ensuring quarterly hiring goals (determined by leadership at the start of each quarter) are met.

  • Build local networks, referral streams, and recruiting presence within the Miami community.

Candidate Engagement & Onboarding

  • Act as the single point of contact for candidates from application through onboarding.

  • Run all pre-hire processes: background checks, fingerprinting, licensure and certification (“renewables”), reference checks, and training completion.

  • Keep candidates engaged and informed throughout, reducing drop-off.

  • Schedule orientation and ensure smooth handoff to the branch for day-one onboarding.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain personnel files and ensure all regulatory and licensing documentation is accurate and complete.

  • Uphold Family First’s standards of integrity and compliance.

Community & Market Expertise

  • Represent Family First Homecare at job fairs, local events, and professional associations.

  • Leverage cultural fluency and bilingual communication skills to connect authentically with candidates.

  • Build strong relationships with local schools, agencies, and community partners.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in a high-volume environment.

  • Healthcare recruiting experience is strongly preferred (home health or agency background ideal).

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) – fluent in speaking, reading, and writing.

  • Strong organizational skills; able to balance speed, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and ability to pass a background check.

PREFERRED

  • Deep knowledge of Miami’s healthcare labor market and regulatory nuances.

  • Experience with KanTime, Workday, or HealthStream.

  • Track record of achieving (or exceeding) hiring quotas.

  • Primarily office/computer-based work, with occasional lifting up to 15 lbs
