We are looking for an Accounting/Operations Specialist to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to support accounting operations with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial tasks, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with leadership to maintain operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Generate invoices in QuickBooks and coordinate with customers for timely billing.
• Process payments received via electronic transfers and checks, ensuring accurate application to accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identify overdue accounts, and support collections.
• Code and process electronic bills, match invoices against purchase orders or sales orders, and manage payments in QuickBooks.
• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and credit card reconciliations as a backup.
• Learn and manage tax filings, state audits, and regulatory compliance tasks.
• Collaborate with leadership to handle state license renewals, tax filings, and audit processes.
• Maintain consistent and organized documentation for all financial and operational activities.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Strong skills in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
• Ability to manage data entry tasks with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and team members.
