Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Miami, Florida, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency in QuickBooks, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Process and record vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare deposits as needed.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and manage payment issuance via checks.
• Maintain and organize documentation, including scanning, filing, and sorting mail.
• Assist in preparing monthly client reports and financial summaries.
• Manage receipts from credit card charges and reconcile statements.
• Match invoices with corresponding payments and ensure proper documentation.
• Support special projects and initiatives within the department.
• Monitor and address discrepancies in invoices and perform light collections as required.

• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong background in QuickBooks.

• At least 1 year of experience in an office setting, showcasing multitasking abilities.

• Proven track record of creating invoices, balancing general ledgers, and reviewing discrepancies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Able to work in Brickell
