Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000
About the Role
We’re looking for a forward-thinking Talent Development Specialist to design, implement, and manage programs that strengthen performance management, leadership growth, succession planning, and employee career pathing. You’ll collaborate closely with HR, business leaders, and external partners to ensure our talent strategies align with our business goals, culture, and values.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end execution of performance management processes, including goal setting and performance analytics.
Build and maintain role-based competency frameworks to drive clarity, consistency, and development across the organization.
Develop and manage career pathing initiatives, tools, and resources to support employee growth and retention.
Identify high-potential talent and create personalized development plans.
Facilitate annual and mid-year talent reviews, including succession planning efforts.
Design and deliver scalable leadership development programs tailored to various employee levels.
Partner with the LMS Administrator to manage course content, compliance tracking, and learning analytics.
Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual learning sessions for diverse audiences.
Build dashboards and reports to measure learning outcomes and provide insights to leadership.
Support change management strategies to promote talent readiness and cultural alignment.
Coordinate logistics for learning events, vendor-led activities, and internal workshops.
Ensure all learning initiatives are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with company values.
Serve as the primary contact for talent development inquiries and vendor partnerships.
Perform other duties to support the Talent team’s mission as needed.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Training & Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
3+ years of experience managing performance reviews, succession planning, and development plans.
Strong background in competency modeling, talent assessments, and leadership development.
Experience in organizations with 500+ employees highly preferred.
Skilled in needs assessments, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
Experience with LMS platforms, vendor management, and learning analytics.
Familiarity with compliance regulations related to training and HR.
Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
ATD, SHRM, or similar certifications preferred.
Previous experience in the HVAC or service industry is a plus.
