Position Summary:

As an Inventory & Forklift Operator, work independently to Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging products as well as assisting in the receiving process to handle inbound freight. The ultimate goal is to progress in your warehouse career to increasingly more independent and advanced roles.

Responsibilities to Include (But Not Limited To):

  • Responsible for receiving inventory and providing accurate counts and inputting into Warehouse Management Software (WMS); including but not limited to, inventory transfers, adjustments, exchanges, orders, receiving, physical counts, etc.
  • Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Performing quality checks on stored inventory & adjusting inventory that does not meet the company’s standards. Assist in reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft, such as too little inventory at last count or invalid quantities from receiving and reporting to the Distribution Management Team.
  • Ensures task deadlines are met and logged into Asana for tracking.
  • Ensures OSHA safety procedures are followed throughout all hours of the operation.
  • Ensures proper unloading and staging of inbound shipments.
  • Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift when loading and unloading supplies and inventory.
  • Ensuring Stocking, re-stocking and sorting materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures that ensure inventory accuracy and correct use of systems.
  • Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness, efficiency, cleanliness, and always optimizing productivity by assigning and overseeing tasks/projects.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Have proficiencies in NetSuite, ShipStation, Shopify Plus platforms, Asana, Microsoft Office/Teams and overall computer efficiency.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Previous use of inventory programs such as Excel, NetSuite, etc. (Not Required)
  • Mathematical and analytical skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s or associates degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or similar (Preferred but not Required)
  • Previous experience in a fulfillment center (not Required)
  • Forklift Certification (Preferred not Required)
  • Previous use of inventory programs such as Excel, Netsuite, etc.. (not Required)
  • Mathematical and analytical skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs, and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
