EHS Specialist (Bilingual – English/Spanish)


PrideStaff is seeking a high-energy, Bilingual EHS Specialist for a premier manufacturing and installation leader. We are looking for a safety champion who can bridge the communication gap across a diverse workforce and take full ownership of the health and safety landscape. The ideal candidate isn't just a coordinator; they are a bilingual advocate for employee wellness, specifically skilled in navigating the complexities of workers' compensation and OSHA compliance.

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $25-27. depending on experience
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Experience: 1+ Years
Temp-to-hire position with a great benefits package once hired by the client.



Responsibilities:

  • Safety Leadership: Spearhead workplace safety inspections and compliance audits to maintain a culture of "Safety First".
  • Workers’ Comp Management: Take the lead on all accident and incident investigations, ensuring precise reporting and active management of Workers’ Compensation claims.
  • Bilingual Training: Develop and conduct safety training sessions in both English and Spanish to ensure 100% employee comprehension and engagement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce strict adherence to OSHA and EPA regulations across both office and active field sites.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain detailed records and report on key safety performance indicators (KPIs) to identify and correct potential hazards before they happen.

Skills Required:

  • Fluent Bilingualism: Must be fully proficient in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Spanish to support a diverse team.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and specific Workers’ Compensation filing procedures.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex safety regulations into clear, actionable instructions for field and manufacturing staff.
  • Organization: Meticulous document preparation and data entry skills for maintaining accurate compliance records.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of dedicated experience in safety administration or EHS management.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Safety or a related field is a major plus.
  • Certifications: Active OSHA certifications are highly preferred.
  • Logistics: A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required for site visits.
