Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an experienced Director of Sales to support our sales efforts at our gorgeous property Doubletree by Hilton located in Deerfield Beach, FL. As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets. You will also be involved in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with other departments to optimize overall business performance.
The ideal candidate for Director of Sales will have a strong background in hotel sales, exceptional leadership skills, Hilton brand experience, and a commitment to driving top line revenue.

The Company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the hotel's business objectives and market trends.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Revenue Management:
- Set and achieve sales targets for the hotel, including room revenue, catering, and other ancillary revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing and inventory strategies.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of individual and collective goals.
- Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and industry partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts and negotiate contracts to drive business growth.
- Marketing Collaboration:
- Collaborate to develop and execute effective marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to marketing standards in all sales materials and communications.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and analytics to monitor performance against targets.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Event and Catering Sales:
- Oversee the sales efforts for conferences, meetings, and special events.
- Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Director of Sales or in a similar senior sales role within the hotel industry.
- Strong understanding of sales and revenue management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Familiarity with industry software and tools.
- Availability to travel as required.
