We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Key Account Manager to lead and expand our most strategic retailer partnerships in the juvenile products sector. This role focuses on nurturing long-term relationships, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and driving sustainable revenue growth through strategic account planning, data-driven insights, and internal collaboration.

Key Responsibilities


  • Own and grow key national retail accounts in the juvenile products industry.
  • Develop and execute tailored account strategies that align with both client goals and company sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, category expansion initiatives, and upsell potentials.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts, ensuring best-in-class service and responsiveness.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders to increase account loyalty and retention.
  • Monitor account performance through sell-in/sell-through data, customer trends, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Support demand planning and forecasting by sharing insights from account performance and category dynamics.
  • Work closely with marketing, logistics, finance, and sales operations teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, product launches, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional strategies, and trade terms in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate execution of programs, promotions, and product assortments.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to support account strategy.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings (travel up to 2030%).
  • Mentor and support field sales representatives in executing strategic plans and identifying growth opportunities.

Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 35+ years of experience managing key accounts, ideally in juvenile products or consumer goods
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Experience working with major retailers and e-commerce partners (e.g., Nordstrom, Target, Walmart, Pottery Barn) is highly desirable.
