We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to manage payroll operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The role involves overseeing payroll processes, advising on policies, and ensuring the smooth administration of employee programs.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately calculate and process payroll, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met.

• Review and verify payroll data, including new hires, salary adjustments, and terminations, for compliance with federal regulations.

• Handle garnishments, child support orders, and other legal deductions in accordance with applicable laws.

• Provide guidance to the organization on payroll policies and best practices.

• Administer Paid Time Off (PTO) and Leave of Absence programs, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.

• Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to maintain accuracy and integrity.

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day payroll transactions, benefits processing, and employee compensation adjustments.

• Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably for organizations with over 500 employees.

• Expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations.

• Proficiency in using Paycom for payroll administration.

• Strong understanding of federal payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.

• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct audits and identify discrepancies in payroll data.

• Strong interpersonal skills to provide clear guidance on payroll policies and practices.
