Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP. This role plays a key part in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.

Post and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in GL accounts, implementing process improvements where needed.

Support audits by providing GL documentation and schedules.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

3+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on general ledger management.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, journal entries, and internal controls.

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
