Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a Contract-to-Permanent opportunity in St. Augustine, Florida. This role involves managing high-volume transactions and reconciling accounts for over 900 active customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and excel at evaluating credit lines and processing orders efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Process and release daily customer orders while ensuring compliance with credit limits.
• Evaluate and review account creditworthiness to make informed decisions.
• Reconcile accounts receivable records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Handle billing, cash applications, and collections for commercial accounts.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including creating pivot tables and interpreting financial data.
• Maintain organized records of transactions and customer account details.
• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve discrepancies and manage collections.
• Apply critical thinking to address complex credit scenarios and make sound decisions.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze pivot tables.
• Familiarity with financial software such as SAP ERP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills to evaluate creditworthiness.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing high-volume transactions.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a business casual environment within a cubicle setting.
• Experience with account reconciliation, billing, and cash applications.
