Palmdale is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Accounts Representative to join our finance team. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and looking to contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. Palmdale currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors. Operating out of 15 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, propane, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets.

Our Accounts Setup Representative in the Finance Department is responsible for accurately setting up new customer accounts in internal systems following credit approval. They verify and enter essential customer details, ensuring all information complies with company credit policies and procedures. The role also includes reviewing and maintaining existing accounts for accuracy, monitoring account activity, and updating records as needed to reflect changes in customer status or credit terms. This ensures our financial records remain accurate and up to date.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up new customer accounts in internal systems (e.g., credit or factoring software) after credit approval
  • Verify and enter customer information accurately, including billing and contact details
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures during account setup
  • Review existing customer accounts for accuracy, credit limits, and payment terms
  • Monitor account activity to identify discrepancies or overdue balances
  • Update account records as needed to reflect changes in customer status or credit terms

Job Requirements

  • College Education preferred
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Self-motivating while having a team synergy
