The Sales Assistant is an entry-level role designed to support the new-home sales team through strong administrative execution, model home coverage, and customer-facing assistance. This role provides foundational exposure to the new-home sales process while focusing on operational excellence, professionalism, and delivering exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support to the Sales Consultant and Area Sales Manager.
- Cover the model home during scheduled Sales Consultant days off, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Develop an understanding of the structured selling process (execution to be completed under supervision).
- Assist with backlog communication and buyer follow-up as directed.
- Maintain organized and accurate community files and documentation.
- Prepare reports, manage supplies, stock refreshments, and support front-of-house operations.
- Greet and assist visitors, manage walk-in traffic, and support customer inquiries.
- Uphold the WestBay customer experience standards and ensure model homes remain clean, organized, and show-ready at all times

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative, customer service, or real estate support role
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active Florida Real Estate License required or must be obtained within 150 days of hire
- Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a valid Florida Real Estate License
- Failure to obtain licensure within the required timeframe may result in termination of employment
Additional Requirements
- This is an on-site position based in the Tampa Bay area and will require relocation if you are not currently located in the area.
- This is an exempt role, which may require working more than eight hours per day.
- Being authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship is a precondition of employment.
