Job Summary
The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in supporting SkyHop Global’s nationwide operations by leading full-cycle recruiting efforts for station leadership, dispatch, and key support roles. This on-site position is based at our corporate headquarters and serves as a strategic partner to Operations and HR leadership.The Senior Recruiter is responsible for driving hiring strategy, managing high-volume and safety-sensitive requisitions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and using data to improve hiring outcomes in a fast-paced, accountability-driven, 24/7/365 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for leadership, dispatch, and operational support roles across multiple locations
- Partner closely with Operations and HR leadership to forecast staffing needs and develop proactive hiring strategies
- Manage high-volume and time-sensitive requisitions while maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Source and attract candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, community partnerships, and targeted outreach
- Conduct in-depth candidate screening and interviews to assess experience, leadership capability, and cultural alignment
- Ensure compliance with DOT, federal, state, and local hiring requirements for safety-sensitive positions
- Serve as a subject matter resource on hiring best practices and compliance standards
- Maintain data integrity within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate documentation
- Analyze recruiting metrics and trends to improve time-to-fill, quality of hire, and retention outcomes
- Support and enhance employer branding initiatives to strengthen SkyHop Global’s talent pipeline
- Partner with HR and Operations on onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition from offer to start date
- Provide guidance and support to junior recruiting team members or coordinators, as applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business and operational needs
Work Environment & Availability
- This is an on-site position based at SkyHop Global’s corporate headquarters
- SkyHop Global operates 24/7/365; flexibility to support hiring needs outside standard business hours may be required
- Occasional travel to station locations as business needs dictate

Requirements:
Qualifications Experience & Skills
- 5–8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, operations, or high-volume environments
- Demonstrated experience hiring for leadership and safety-sensitive roles
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws; DOT hiring experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Strong sourcing expertise across multiple platforms and recruiting channels
- Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide recruiting decisions
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Recruiting or HR certifications
