Dog World Sarasota is a top-notch training, day care, and boarding facility and we are actively seeking passionate animal lovers who are hard working and dependable to join our amazing Kennel Team. Previous experience is desired, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This is a part-time position consisting of 25-30 hours a week and includes day, night and weekend shifts, open availability is a must. There is never a dull moment with all the wonderful fur babies in our care and our team takes pride in the services we provide and have genuine love for all the dogs who walk through our door.
This is a permanent position that requires training. Those looking for temporary work should not apply.
Job Responsibilities Include:
· Feeding and watering animals
· Monitoring and interacting with a pack of dogs while they play in our dog parks
· Being the advocate for all dogs entrusted to your care
· Picking up animal waste and spot cleaning
· Cleaning dog kennels
· Assist in daily activities and play time for our guests
· Washing dishes, doing laundry and basic cleaning
· Assist front staff and customers during our rush times
Requirements:
· Passion and love for animals
· Open availability for day, night, weekend shifts and some holidays
· Must be 18 years of age
· Reliable transportation
· Ability to learn dog behaviors and handle dogs of all breeds and sizes
· Ability to take feedback and instructions
