Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and assist ownership with day-to-day tasks. This role is critical to keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes.
You will help manage schedules, communications, records, and internal workflows while providing operational, accounting, and HR support. This position works closely with ownership and leadership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, organization, and being a key part of a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Office & Administrative Support
- Manage schedules, emails, and general administrative tasks
- Assist with calendar coordination and task tracking
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
Operations Support
- Assist with internal workflows and day-to-day operations
- Help ensure tasks move forward and deadlines are met
- Support coordination between departments
Basic Accounting Support
- Track invoices, expenses, and receipts
- Assist with organizing financial records
- Support basic reporting (no advanced accounting required)
Hiring & HR Support
- Review applications and assist with candidate screening
- Schedule interviews
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee records
Data Entry & Reporting
- Maintain accurate internal reports and spreadsheets
- Enter and update company data as needed
- Assist with weekly or monthly summaries for ownership
Vendor & External Communication
- Communicate with vendors and service providers
- Handle follow-ups, scheduling, and basic coordination
Management & Ownership Support
- Assist ownership with task tracking and priorities
- Help keep leadership organized and focused
- Handle special projects and overflow tasks
Organization & Confidentiality
- Maintain strict organization of sensitive company information
- Handle confidential data with professionalism and discretion
Requirements
- Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working with email, calendars, spreadsheets, and documents
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Dependable, punctual, and proactive
Cannabis or hemp industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation
- $15.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience
