Job Title: Auto Accounting Clerk
Location: 100% Onsite – Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20–$24/hour (based on experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Auto Accounting Clerk to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens. This is a full-time, onsite contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone with automotive industry experience and a strong background in accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely
- Reconcile daily cash receipts, bank statements, and general ledger accounts
- Post journal entries and maintain financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Handle vehicle inventory accounting and cost tracking
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Support audits and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in accounting software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with MS Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
