Job Title: Accounts Payable Lead / Supervisor
Location: Onsite
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Lead/Supervisor to oversee a team of four AP specialists. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and driving process improvements within the AP function.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of 4 accounts payable staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Oversee daily AP operations including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows.

Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.

Prepare and review AP reports and metrics for management.

Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.

Strong understanding of AP processes, systems, and best practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
