Job Title: Accounts Payable Lead / Supervisor
Location: Onsite
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Lead/Supervisor to oversee a team of four AP specialists. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and driving process improvements within the AP function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of 4 accounts payable staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Oversee daily AP operations including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows.

  • Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.

  • Prepare and review AP reports and metrics for management.

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.

  • Strong understanding of AP processes, systems, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
