Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: 5–6 days per week | 4:00 PM – 10:00/11:00 PM
Availability Required: Nights, Weekends & Holidays (mandatory)
Job Description
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and well-presented Hostess to join our front-of-house team at a busy, upscale Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale.
The hostess is the first and last impression of our restaurant. This role requires strong communication skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally
- Manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently
- Coordinate seating with servers and management
- Maintain an organized waitlist during busy services
- Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries
- Keep the host stand and entrance area clean and presentable
- Provide exceptional hospitality at all times
Requirements
- Must be professional, punctual, and reliable
- Friendly personality with excellent people skills
- Able to work 5–6 days per week
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
- Well-groomed and polished appearance
- Previous hostess or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
