We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Delray Beach, Florida. This position requires 20 hours per week and offers an excellent opportunity for someone skilled in managing financial tasks and ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping processes. The ideal candidate will excel in handling accounts, reconciling transactions, and supporting administrative financial duties.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and record daily client expenses, including medical record payments made via credit card.
• Enter payment details and associated costs into Filevine case management software.
• Organize and categorize credit card transactions in QuickBooks Online to ensure accurate tracking.
• Assist with compiling vendor information to prepare and issue 1099 forms in early January.
• Reconcile accounts, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing.
• Maintain financial records and documentation to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Provide assistance in resolving discrepancies and ensuring proper vendor communication.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with other accounting software.
• Strong skills in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to perform detailed bank reconciliations with precision.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with preparing and issuing 1099 forms.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial documentation.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and team members effectively.
