Remote – Must reside in one of the preferred states: AZ, FL, GA, ID, IA, KY, MI, NE, NM, NY (outside greater NYC), OH, TX, UT, WA (outside greater Seattle), WI
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST or CST
Contract Role | $20-24.50/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a Membership Representative II fluent in Haitian or Haitian Creole to join our team. This role is focused on supporting and engaging Medicare members, ensuring they are informed about their plan benefits, provider options, and resources. You will play a vital role in both member retention and onboarding by acting as a trusted guide and advocate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to existing members to educate them on plan benefit changes and address questions or concerns.
  • Provide personalized assistance to new Medicare members, guiding them through their benefits, provider networks, and resources.
  • Serve as a navigator during the onboarding process, anticipating issues and resolving member concerns quickly.
  • Document all member interactions accurately in required systems.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on member benefits and advocacy practices.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluency in Haitian or Haitian Creole (required).
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, consumer advocacy, or healthcare systems.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate internally and externally.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and conduct intake, interviews, and research to resolve member issues.
  • Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and Medicare.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medicare/Medicaid experience (highly preferred).
  • Prior call center or work-from-home experience.
  • Familiarity with Genesys, Salesforce, EPIC, or similar systems.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience working with dual-eligible populations.

Day-to-Day

  • Conduct outbound calls to existing members regarding benefit changes.
  • Educate, guide, and advocate for members to ensure they fully understand and use their benefits.
  • Log and track outreach activities and outcomes in internal systems.
