Facilities Attendant Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the food truck park, ship store, administrative offices and the surrounding Slipaway grounds. Duties include sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities and collecting trash to ensure the businesses occupants have a clean space.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

a) Reports to: Administrative Manager

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitoring the cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as pavilion bar, ship store, offices, food truck lot, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces

· Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed

· Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as completing maintenance orders

· Assisting in preparing facilities for changing weather conditions

Requirements:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

· High School education.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

· Pleasant personality and ability to get along with customers and co-workers.

· Dependable and flexible

· Good communication skills

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Medium work, ability to move up to 50 lbs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

Some activities take place outdoors and are subject to weather conditions.

Subject to loud noise levels.
