Job Description

All applicants must submit a portfolio or links of recent work
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
Ability to edit short-form vertical content (e.g., Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) with high engagement hooks, captions, transitions, and on-brand pacing
Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation (e.g., After Effects, Canva, or in-app tools)
Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing for social-first videos Social Media Expertise
In-depth knowledge of major platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter) ect.
Experience managing content calendars and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite)
Understanding of platform-specific best practices: video ratios, caption styles, trending audio, algorithm behavior
Familiarity with hashtags, SEO for social, and audience targeting

Creative Thinking & Branding

Ability to follow brand voice, tone, and visual guidelines
Creative mindset with a strong eye for aesthetics, composition, and trends
Capacity to turn raw assets (images, long-form video, screenshots) into polished social content
Stay current on viral trends, challenges, memes, and audio that align with the brand

Organization & Execution

Highly organized with strong time management skills—can work with deadlines, batch content, and juggle multiple platforms
Experience using project management tools (e.g., Trello, Notion, Asana)
Strong attention to detail for QC (video quality, grammar in captions, formatting)

Optional but Preferred

Graphic design experience (Canva, Photoshop, Figma)
Copywriting for hooks, captions, CTAs, and hashtags
Knowledge of analytics and insights to optimize future content
Experience in influencer management or UGC sourcing

Education & Background

Required Skills: Marketing, Video Editing, Communications, Content Calendar Management, and Content Creation
3+ years of experience in social media content creation or editing
