Alliance Workforce Solutions has partnered with a leading plastics distributor to hire a reliable, service driven Non CDL Delivery Driver. This is a great opportunity to join a company that values customer service, teamwork, and growth.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm
Pay: $20/hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet delivery deadlines and follow assigned delivery routes.
- Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to facilitate successful, on time deliveries.
- Follow all traffic laws and best practices for safety when delivering items.
- Prepare, load and unload the delivery vehicle.
- Use additional equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks and dollies, as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and obtain client or customer signatures when needed.
- Complete any paperwork related to the deliveries and complete reports as required.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience as delivery driver
- Minimum one year experience driving a 26-foot box truck
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual is a plus.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a national background check, drug test and MVR
