💡 About Cashera
Cashera Capital is a fast-growing fintech company focused on providing quick, accessible cash advances (average $750) to gig workers and independent contractors in the U.S., including those on platforms like Uber, DoorDash, and Instacart. With a custom-built application and underwriting platform, we recently hit a record month with 85 funded deals and are scaling rapidly. Our operations are expanding in Mexico City, and we’re looking for a dynamic Head of Product to drive our next phase of growth.
🎯 Role Overview
As Head of Product, you will lead our product vision, strategy, and execution owning everything from user experience to underwriting logic and payment systems. You’ll play a key role connecting business objectives, customer needs, and engineering efforts to shape the future of Cashera’s technology and lending platform.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product roadmap across lending application, underwriting, disbursement, collections, and user portals
- Identify user pain points and optimize the experience for fast, transparent funding
- Oversee integration with third-party platforms such as Plaid, Stripe/ACH, Decision Logic.
- Work closely with engineering teams (in-house and outsourced) to deliver features quickly and effectively
- Define and enhance underwriting logic based on user behavior and performance data
- Drive growth through improved approval rates, reduced defaults, and increased user lifetime value
- Develop product specs, workflows, and user stories; manage and prioritize the product backlog
- Build and lead a small product/design team as the company scales
🧠 What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of product management experience in fintech, lending, or embedded finance
- A strong track record of building digital credit products for underbanked or gig economy users
- Understanding of risk, underwriting, and financial product design
- Strong strategic thinking and hands-on execution
