Sr. Staff Accountant
LHH recruitment solutions is hiring a contracted staff accountant in the Boca Raton, FL area. Our client is looking for a Sr. Staff accountant with a strong background in Quickbooks along with general accounting. This position will work fully in office Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm schedule.
Responsibilities to include:
· General Ledger Maintenance: Record, reconcile, and maintain accurate general ledger entries. Ensure all transactions are correctly posted and supported by appropriate documentation.
· Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, verify payment requests, obtain necessary approvals, and prepare payments. Monitor outstanding payables and resolve discrepancies.
· Bank Reconciliation: Compare and match bank statements with company records, identify discrepancies, and prepare reconciliation reports.
You are a great fit if:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
· 5 plus years of general accounting experience
· Strong Quickbooks experience preferably in QuickBooks Enterprise
· Prior construction accounting background a plus
This position is a short term contracted role that will pay between $36/hr-$38/hr. Please apply today!
