Vendor Relations Manager
Vendor relations manager is an individual that is the liaison between EVO, it’s service department, potential new vendors and existing vendors. The VR Manager will be able to successfully lead a team in actions of recruiting and onboarding of new vendors while ensuring compliance protocols. This position also works closely with the Account Payable department and the Compliance Team concerning vendor payment issues and the retrieval of needed documents.
Directly reports to: Service Manager
Job Responsibilities
· Run daily activity reports to ensure team is achieving recruiting and dispatching goals
· Run and assess “New Vendor” report daily to ensure recruitment goals are being met, and report monthly to the Operations Manager
· Assess and run “New Vendor Prospect” report weekly to track progress on recruiting, and report monthly to the Operations Manager
· Review and discuss Phone reports with team ensuring daily goals are being met
· Communicate and work with service department to ensure sourcing is at a manageable level and able to redirect the VR team accordingly
· Working with AP to pull a “hold report” and ensure all invoices are processed accordingly
· Working with AST regarding MSA redlines and approvals, maintaining a flow of approvals or denials and moving uncertain redlines to the Operations Manager
· Coaching and mentoring team members on how to properly speak with new prospective technicians
· Ability and to perform talk offs and handle technician escalations and complaints
· Identify and execute searches within regions, cities, or States where vendors are needed by trade and organize a concentrated efforts to fulfill trade needs
· Identify as needed all exhausted areas every quarter to provide leadership; allowing information to be utilized during sales calls and acknowledgement of potential SLA/KPI standards NOT being met so that service tickets can be redirected or downgraded
· Assisting vendors as needed with initial jobs and ensuring all paperwork is in house to be properly paid
· Utilize third party search tools such as Linked-in and Apollo to search and/or create mass contacts to potentially interested vendors
· Collaborate with Service Manager and Director of Operations regarding procedures and adaptations as needed regarding the department
HR Related Duties:
- Responsible for the schedule, time off requests, and balance of team coverage though out year and holidays
- Responsible for disciplinary actions of their direct reports after review and approval by Upper Management.
- Perform Annual review of all team members.
Required Meetings:
- Daily Team Meetings
- Bi-Weekly Management Meetings
- Monthly Meeting with AS Team
- Specific Sales/Projects/Service Requested Meetings
Experience:
· 1-3 years of management experience.
· 1-2 years of facilities maintenance experience.
· Familiar with word
· Familiar with excel
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
