Hanley Foundation, a non-profit organization based in West Palm Beach, we aim to eliminate addiction through prevention, treatment, advocacy, and recovery support. We seek a compassionate and organized Recovery Services Manager who shares our passion. In this role, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team and work alongside top-notch professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients.


Summary/Objective:

You will report directly to the Director of Alumni Services and interact extensively with clinical teams, recovery advocates, and the PRO team. Your primary responsibilities will be managing all discharge recommendations and alumni post-discharge follow-up calls.


Duties & Responsibilities:

· Report on the department's progress, pull reports and make recommendations as necessary.

· Facilitate timely communication between patient, patient family, professional relations team, referent, and referring facility for discharge placement.

· Coordinate all outbound travel arrangements.

· Maintain contact with Alumni after discharge according to post-discharge call schedule.

· Document all patient and alumni sessions according to policy.

· Generate and accept calls from Alumni who may need support and assist them by connecting them with internal and external resources, as appropriate.

· Develop and coordinate alumni engagement activities in targeted areas.

· Work collaboratively with the professional relations officers and clinical team.

· Be responsible to protect patients' health, safety, and welfare.

· Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all patients and their records.

· Complete duties in a professional and timely manner.

· Consistently demonstrate leadership skills.

· Reports all alleged incidents of abuse or neglect per all state standards and accrediting bodies and Hanley’ Policies and procedures.

· Ensures that their portions of patient records are accurate and are prepared in a timely fashion.

· Help to ensure and maintain the safety of property belonging to and on all facilities grounds.

· Ensures that program schedules and functions are met professionally and promptly and comply with all applicable regulations and accreditation standards.

· Ensures and coordinates with the clinical staff’s functioning to avoid scheduling conflicts.

· Supervise daily patient activities.

· Uphold all Hanley Foundation Policies and Procedures.

· Other duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibility:

This position manages all department employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the department.


Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.


Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


Travel:
Travel may be expected for this position.


Education/Experience/Qualifications:

· Previous experience working in a treatment facility is required.

· A sound knowledge of the teaching of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous

· If in recovery, one (1) year of continuous sobriety is required.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to network and interact with the recovery community at a local, state, national, and international level.

· Demonstrate managerial experience and competence.

· Must be computer literate and be familiar with most Microsoft products and network components.

· Must have fluid communication skills that foster teamwork and high morale.

· Must be able to promote the continuum in the media such as radio, television, and print.

· Must set an example as a leader so that others who report to them want to follow enthusiastically.

· Must possess a high degree of leadership skills in theory and practice.

· Must possess a high degree of organization skills and be able to pass this information to his/her direct reports.

· Must be thoroughly familiar with and demonstrate knowledge of the principles and programs of the various 12-step fellowships.
