Job Title: CDL Driver – Hazmat (Delicate Goods)
Location: Miami, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $52,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to transport delicate and regulated goods, including lithium batteries. This role involves operating a 26-ft box truck for local and regional deliveries. Drivers will also assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes. Occasional weekend travel to Orlando and back may be required based on delivery schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26-ft box truck for deliveries and pickups
- Transport delicate and hazardous materials, including lithium batteries, in compliance with DOT and safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load and unload materials and assist with warehouse tasks such as staging, organizing, and inventory support
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid CDL license required
- Hazmat endorsement required
- Clean driving record
- Clean background required (travel to and from airport facilities)
- Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs
- Willingness to assist in warehouse operations when not driving
- Availability for occasional weekend travel to Orlando and back
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience transporting hazardous or delicate materials
- Experience driving a 26-ft box truck
- Warehouse or logistics experience
