This role will be based out of Marshall+Sterling's Wellington Office.
We are seeking a licensed and client-focused Client Service Specialist with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering top-tier service in the insurance industry. This role is perfect for a proactive professional who holds an Insurance license and thrives on building strong client relationships, ensuring policy accuracy, and contributing to account retention and growth. You will play a key role in supporting clients and collaborating with internal teams to provide a seamless service experience.
- Build strong client relationships by responding promptly and thoughtfully to questions, requests, and service needs
- Manage policy transactions (endorsements, renewals, cancellations, ID cards, etc.) with care, accuracy, and timeliness
- Help clients understand their coverage, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions that fit their needs
- Evaluate risks to ensure policies align with both client goals and carrier guidelines
- Keep detailed records of client and carrier communications in our internal system
- Support account retention and growth by identifying opportunities to round out coverage and asking for referrals
- Stay aligned with internal procedures to ensure compliance, confidentiality, and minimize E&O exposure
Requirements:
- Must hold an active state insurance license and meet continuing education requirements
- Demonstrated, measurable success in client service or insurance operations
- Prior experience in insurance, preferably with equine or specialty lines of coverage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with agency management systems (Vertafore experience is a plus)
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues and clients
- Highly organized and pays attention to details.
Total Rewards Package:
Compensation: $47,500 - $52,500, annual salary, paid hourly based on experience, education, and work location.
