The inventory control analyst maintains full control of all warehouse inventory and oversees the gathering, distributing, and facilitating the flow of materials between multiple manufacturing operation departments. Examines the production needs and moves material based on manufacturing demands. Provides a high quality of service to the company’s internal customers and maintains an effective and efficient work environment. Possesses a clear understanding of safety requirements and procedures when operating a forklift, pallet jack, or reach lift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain full control and ownership over all raw material and sub-assembly parts in the warehouse.
· Monitor and record stock inventory levels and report inventory variances.
· Inventory tracking as products move through the warehouse while maintaining clear and concise inventory and product identification.
· Maintain daily cycle counts.
· Perform inventory adjustments and movements in the ERP system.
· Analyze future inventory demands and identify restraints.
· Work autonomously throughout the day with minimal supervision.
· Interface with management and multi-department personnel to ensure key objectives are realized.
· Operate a forklift, reach lift, and/or pallet jack.
· Complete tasks in a timely and professional manner.
· Demonstrate professional conduct and ethics according to IMI’s policies.
· Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse job function.
- Proficient computer knowledge.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, focus on details.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Performs well under pressure and able to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Positive and professional with all internal and external customers.
· Good interpersonal skills and work well in a team setting.
- Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation, and reliability.
- Forklift certification or demonstrated experience operating a forklift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish / English).
Physical / Mental Demands:
· Job is performed indoors in a warehouse environment with high forklift traffic, including non-AC environment, controlled areas, quarantine areas.
· Physical activity includes sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and regular lifting of up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting of 40-50 pounds or moving up to 100 pounds.
· Repetitive bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting.
· Able to sit, stand, bend, reach and / or walk for long period of time.
- Repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves.
· Work may require weekend and evening work.
· Work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be alert, able to concentrate, and use good judgment.
