The Florida-based corporation has production and shipping operations in Florida, California, Arizona, Michigan and Georgia with additional domestic and international locations.
Duda Farm Fresh Foods is seeking a Scanner to join our Production Team in Belle Glade, FL. This position plays a vital role in supporting our operational efficiency by ensuring accurate and timely scanning of products and materials throughout the production process. Follows industrial safety procedures and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate handheld scanning devices to track and document product movement
- Verify that product codes, quantities, and descriptions are accurate in production system
- Ensure the integrity of label information accurately reflects product standards
- Ensure the “usage date” on the packing/label is correct.
- Report discrepancies or scanning issues to the supervisor promptly
- Always follow company safety and quality guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or inventory environment preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Working Conditions:
- This position requires working in an indoor cold and wet environment for extended periods
- Standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required throughout the shift
- Proper PPE will be provided and must be worn at all times
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
