Location: Miramar, FL (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

CAREERXCHANGE®, Inc. has partnered with a well-established company in the electrical equipment and services industry to identify a highly motivated and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about accounting, thrives on accuracy, and enjoys contributing to a collaborative and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable: create invoices, track payments, and follow up to ensure timely collections.
  • Handle light accounts payable (approximately 10 vendors) and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial records.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and assist in transitioning to QuickBooks Online (effective January).
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with external accounting partners for payroll, month-end, and year-end closings, as well as tax filings.
  • Support general ledger management and inventory-related reconciliations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.



Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience (preferably in a service or product-based environment).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online required.
  • Strong knowledge of A/R, A/P, and general ledger management.
  • Experience with payroll coordination and tax compliance.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
  • Professional tenure and strong reasoning for career transitions are highly valued.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Background in the construction, service, or equipment industries.
  • QuickBooks certification a plus.
