Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative Job Summary:
Kasper Electric is looking for a dependable first ring person—the voice customers hear when they call us—who can provide an exceptional experience from start to finish. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, support technicians in the field, and help ensure seamless communication throughout every job.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls promptly with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring customers feel valued from the first ring.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, service technicians, and office teams to ensure all job stages are documented, scheduled, and communicated effectively.

  • Coordinate scheduling for technicians using technology-based tools.

  • Assist with accurate job descriptions, timely task completion, and follow-up communications.

  • Maintain positive client relationships through pleasant, proactive communication.

  • Support administrative duties for service team leaders, including data entry and task coordination.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve communication and streamline processes.

Ideal Customer Service Representative Candidates:

  • Enjoy serving others with a can-do attitude.

  • Are experienced in using technology for scheduling and communication.

  • Have strong attention to detail for daily data entry and administrative tasks.

  • Thrive in collaborative environments with both in-office teams and field technicians.

  • Find maintaining positive client relations and providing support rewarding.

  • Have experience with ServiceTitan or a similar field service management platform (highly preferred).

Exceptional Customer Service Representative Candidates:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a similar customer service or administrative role.

  • Understand the construction industry, particularly permitting and inspections.

  • Are familiar with the electrical trade or similar technical industries.

  • Have experience with data entry for accounts receivable and payable.

  • Possess a strong sense of urgency, follow-up, and accountability.

  • Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
