Faithful Companions Animal Clinic is seeking an Experienced Receptionist, Veterinary Technician and Kennel staff
Veterinary Technician will assist the Veterinarian in multiple procedures providing care for animals including physical examinations, dental procedures, surgeries, immunizations, euthanasia as well as client education, Technicians may also see their own appointments for procedures such as suture removal, nail trim, vaccine administration when a doctor exam is not required, lab work, surgery admission and discharge, and boarding entrance exams. This position requires a working knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, common diseases; their symptoms, means of transmission, treatment and prevention, and other basic preventative health care recommendations. Veterinary Receptionist :Answers multiple phone lines , Reply's to emails and texts, greets clients, prepares patient files, verifies that medical files are complete before filing medical charts away .receives and relays client correspondence to veterinarians, updates client financial records and processes client invoices. Receptionists must possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills, compassionate, a positive attitude, excellent communication and teamwork skills. Being Friendly, Reliable and Punctuality is expected.
Kennel Staff: Bathing, Prepare patient meals, clean patient cages, and bedding, laundry and maintain litter boxes Safely approach and restrain cooperative patients as needed during treatments Provide routine attention to patients, including walking dogs Effectively clean and maintain hospital floors, hospital equipment and tools Disinfect areas of the hospital as often as is necessary to maintain high standards of care. Report findings to senior Veterinary Assistant or Technician Remove and wash soiled laundry and keep clean laundry stocked Patrol facility regularly to ensure cleanliness.
