Provide dedicated nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting, supporting patients who require close monitoring and stepdown care. This contract opportunity is based in Clermont, FL, offering a chance to apply your skills in a dynamic healthcare environment during night shifts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license accepted
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in PCU or similar stepdown nursing care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Able to wear navy blue scrub colors as per department guidelines
- One professional reference covering your entire work history

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from intensive care or preparing for general care discharge
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
- Respond promptly to changes in patients conditions, escalating care as necessary
Schedule and Contract Details:
- Night shift hours
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
