Front of House (FOH) Lead Supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences by managing FOH staff, maintaining service standards, and coordinating with the kitchen. Key duties include staff training and supervision, performance feedback, scheduling, handling customer complaints, and managing opening/closing procedures. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a deep understanding of fine dining etiquette and customer service expectations.
Key responsibilities
Staff Management: Train, schedule, motivate, and supervise all FOH staff, providing performance feedback.
Guest Experience: Ensure superior customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards, interacting with guests, and quickly resolving any issues.
Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the FOH, including opening and closing tasks, and maintain cleanliness and organization.
Interdepartmental Communication: Act as a liaison between the FOH and Back of House (BOH) staff to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance: Ensure all staff follows sanitation, safety, and company policies and procedures.
Financial Acumen: Assist with managing operational costs and cash handling procedures.
Required skills and qualifications
Extensive knowledge of fine dining service standards, etiquette, and protocols.
Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proven customer service experience.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
