Lendz Financial is seeking an exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our growing Operations team. No mortgage experience necessary – we'll teach you everything you need to know! Internally, this role is known as the Collateral Specialist and plays a vital part in managing collateral documentation, supporting servicing and funding processes, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of loan files. It's an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to gain hands-on experience in financial operations while contributing to the smooth and efficient flow of post-closing activities. This position is fully onsite at our Fort Lauderdale headquarters on Las Olas Boulevard.

What You'll Do

Collateral & Documentation Management

  • Review collateral packages from title companies, identify and request missing documents.
  • Ship collateral packages to warehouse banks and log all tracking details in LendingPad, Zoho, and CRM systems.
  • Register and transfer MIN numbers in the MERS system; create Alonges and upload Purchase Agreements as needed.
  • Organize, maintain, and audit both original and digital loan documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure all documentation meets investor and warehouse bank requirements.
  • Prepare and manage FedEx labels, transmittals, and wire request documentation.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Support the funding team as needed to ensure complete collateral packages for funding.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or operations capacity; mortgage experience a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook); comfortable learning new technology platforms.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, urgency, and accountability.
