Do you have a shipping/receiving or sales/customer service background and want to work with great customers?

Ft. Lauderdale based marine plumbing distributor is looking for a full-time hybrid position in customer service and to assist on busy days in shipping and receiving. Excellent phone and in-person customer service skills required, with marine background preferred. The ability to learn and understand marine plumbing systems to help customers determine the parts they need is essential to the position. Formal and informal training is provided. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations and/or customer service/sales preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Conversant in Spanish a plus
• 1+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations that integrated customer service/sales preferred
• Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs with the ability to stand for extended periods
• Must have excellent communication as well as teamwork skills
• Computer literate with the ability to use email, and learn our inventory software (Sage100)
• Existing forklift certification is a plus. Must be willing to get it once hired.
• Willingness to embrace change and adapt to it quickly
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Have critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Marine industry background preferred
• Be motivated to work towards individual as well as company goals
