Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant HR Manager to join our Human Resources team at our Boca Raton office. This role will support multiple HR functions with a strong emphasis on weekly payroll processing, ongoing high-volume recruiting, and performance management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience supporting call center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus):
- Manage full-cycle, high-volume recruiting for call center and corporate roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Maintain a steady talent pipeline to meet ongoing staffing needs.
- Coordinate job postings, recruitment marketing, and hiring events.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.
Payroll:
- Process accurate weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Review, verify, and reconcile timecards, attendance records, and pay adjustments.
- Maintain payroll documentation and handle payroll-related inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Partner with Finance as needed to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Performance Management:
- Assist managers in coaching, documentation, and performance improvement processes.
- Support the administration of performance evaluations, corrective actions, and recognition programs.
- Help maintain consistency and compliance in all employee relations and performance-related matters.
HR Support & Administration:
- Serve as an onsite HR point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and company standards.
- Assist with employee onboarding, training coordination, and HR reporting.
- Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Support special HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or call center environment.
- Experience with weekly payroll processing required.
- Strong recruiting experience with high-volume roles.
- Solid knowledge of HR laws, best practices, and performance management processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
Work Environment:
- This is an onsite role based in our Boca Raton office.
- Must be comfortable working closely with leadership, frontline staff, and cross-functional teams.
