Sales Consulting Professional – II (Business Development Manager)

Location: San Francisco, CA | Charlotte, NC | Hartford & New Haven, CT | Tampa, FL
Type: Remote (Field-based, Local Travel)
Contract: W2 – Long Term.

Job Summary:

A leading telecommunications company is seeking Sales Consulting Professionals – II (Business Development Managers) to support market expansion efforts for residential and business services. The focus will be on securing strategic contracts with multi-family (MDU) and multi-tenant (MTU) property owners, developers, and builders to enable broader service deployment and drive revenue growth.

These professionals will negotiate Premise Access Licenses and Marketing Agreements that allow for the installation and marketing of telecom services to tenants, providing a competitive edge in property penetration and customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to engage MDU/MTU property stakeholders.

  • Negotiate access and marketing agreements to enable service installation and co-marketing.

  • Build relationships with high-value property owners, developers, and builders.

  • Collaborate with internal network and account teams to assess and support property deployments.

  • Generate new leads through direct outreach, networking, and marketing efforts.

  • Conduct prospect needs assessments and present tailored service solutions.

  • Maintain and manage sales pipeline in CRM; generate reports and dashboards.

  • Travel within assigned local market (up to 75%) for onsite prospect/client engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4+ years).

  • Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications.

  • Strong understanding of fiber and wireless technology-based services.

  • Experience in MDU/MTU property sales or real estate development is highly desirable.

  • Reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and sales database tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in solution-based/consultative sales environments.

  • Proven ability to manage complex sales funnels and meet objective-driven targets.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of the multi-family housing and construction market landscape.
