About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in West Palm Beach. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in accounting principles. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed.
  • Prepare financial statements and support internal and external audits.
  • Analyze variances and provide explanations for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate environment preferred).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
