About Our Restaurant:
Before we tell you about the job, here's what you should know about us. At Pinch Kitchen+Bar, every meal we serve is infused with our passion for flavor and love for the cooking artform! Offering "A Pinch of This - A Pinch of That," the menu at our New American restaurant blends Cuban, Italian, Spanish, and Asian influences with family recipes to provide a one-of-a-kind dining experience. With craft cocktails, innovative menu items, and an enthusiastic hospitality team, one visit is never enough!
We're open from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays), 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm (Fridays and Saturdays), and 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Sundays). We're closed on Mondays! If you're interested in joining our hospitality team, keep reading to learn more!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Our Restaurant Server shapes the entire dining experience for our guests, providing polite and prompt customer service from beginning to end. You'll greet guests at their tables, promote our incredible menu offerings and specials, and upsell appetizers, cocktails, and desserts when able. Highly accurate and attentive to detail, you'll record food and beverage orders, enter them into our POS, and inform staff about any allergies. When orders are ready, you'll quickly take the meals to the correct table and check in throughout food service to make sure diners are pleased. As they finish with their meals, you'll pre-bus dishes and glasses, bring the bill, and accurately process payments. When you're not serving tables, you'll help the hospitality team with sidework like rolling silverware and performing opening and closing cleaning responsibilities.
WE THINK YOU'LL EXCEL IF YOU HAVE:
- 2+ years of serving experience in a casual or fine dining restaurant
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills - a plus, not required
