Sunset Animal Clinic is seeking a Receptionist to join our fun and friendly team.
Our Receptionists serve a vital role as the first and last point of contact with a client and their pet. As the face of the hospital, they greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
In this role, you will schedule and manage the flow of appointments, provide empathetic customer service while multi-tasking between a multi-line phone system and in-person clients, process financial transactions, answer inquiries, and provide essential information about the services we provide. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in fast-paced customer service who are friendly and outgoing, detail-oriented, excellent at multitasking, and committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.
This is a full-time opportunity, 3 10-hour shifts, 1 4-hour shift, Saturday- 4 hours.

Minimum Qualifications and Skillset:
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of vaccine schedules and parasite prevention
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Confident working with a multi-line phone system
- Outgoing and friendly customer service
- Accurate cash-handling skills
- Scheduling
