We truly love what we do at our family-owned and -operated restaurant, and we're looking for an equally enthusiastic and quality-driven person to keep meals moving out of our kitchen. WHAT YOU'LL DO AS OUR COLD LINE COOK:

You'll play an important part in our kitchen team, supporting smooth food service and helping craft delicious meals that keep guests coming back for more. Attention to detail, communication skills, and time management abilities will be vital as you:

  • Oversee "mise en place" before service by preparing ingredients, organizing kitchen stations, stocking garnishes, and checking equipment functionality
  • Skillfully cook and plate food while following all recipes, quality standards, and visitor specifications
  • Read tickets and prioritize items based on cooking and preparation times
  • Work with the head chef and kitchen team to prepare meals efficiently and promptly
  • Clean your equipment throughout meal service and keep your workspace organized and sanitary
  • Accurately measure ingredients to minimize food waste
  • Properly label, date, and store ingredients according to FIFO
  • Close up the kitchen by breaking down equipment, deep cleaning all surfaces, and creating the prep list for the next day

To Qualify, You'll Need:

  • Open schedule availability with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - required
  • Food handler's license - preferred
  • Ability to speak some Spanish and English - preferred

Cold Line Cook Compensation:

  • Pay: You'll make $15.00 - $16.00/hour.
  • Perks: We're offering schedule flexibility with certain holidays off as well as health, dental, and vision coverage (after 90 days of continuous employment) and a 401(k) after 1 year.
  • Schedule: You'll work varied hours and shifts during our business hours from 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), 12:00 pm - 11:00 pm (Friday and Saturday), and 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Sunday). We're closed on Mondays!
