We are seeking a Clinic Receptionist to join our dedicated healthcare team! You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while managing front desk operations in a clinical research site.
1. Answers the phone and responds appropriately by routing the call to the correct person or taking a message.
2. Greets patients upon arrival and initiates completion of required forms
3. Maintains clean and neat office area including waiting room and kitchen. Includes magazines, newspapers, trash, etc.
4. Calls patients to confirm appointments, follows up on patients who are late or do not keep their appointment
5. Maintains schedule and informs office staff of schedule changes
6. Updates computer database and enrollment logs
7. Maintains office supplies, etc. and orders/purchases as necessary
8. Maintains forms files including consent, physical exam and neurological exam files
9. Maintains and uses office equipment appropriately
10. Disburses checks for patient expenses as appropriate
11. Receives and distributes mail
12. Schedules outside tests as necessary including CT scans and x-rays
13. Faxes and makes copies as requested
14. Requests medical records from outside offices as necessary
15. Does general filing
16. Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education/Certifications
High school graduate or GED. Organizational skills. Detail oriented. Ability to work in a dynamic environment. Ability to work as a team member.
