Miami Mixed Media is a creative print and embroidery studio specializing in custom apparel and live activations. We work with schools, brands, and organizations to bring their ideas to life through screen printing, embroidery, DTG, and more. Our studio is fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused — and we’re looking for the right person to help us run the front-end of the business.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Studio Manager who can manage client communications, organize office operations, and support artwork preparation for production. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be highly organized, and be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and edit artwork.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in both creative work and administrative coordination, acting as the bridge between clients and our production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Services
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients (phone, email, text).
- Provide quotes, timelines, and order updates.
- Ensure clients approve artwork and invoices before production begins.
- Artwork & Design
- Prepare and adjust client artwork for print and embroidery (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop).
- Create mock-ups and proofs for client approval.
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure artwork files are correct and print-ready.
- Office & Administrative Management
- Maintain production schedules, order logs, and Excel tracking sheets.
- Manage invoices, approvals, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate garment deliveries and client shipments (UPS/FedEx/Uber).
- Keep the office organized and efficient.
- Internal Coordination
- Relay client needs and updates to the production team.
- Ensure all jobs are approved, scheduled, and production-ready.
- Provide daily status reports to management.
Qualifications
- Required:
- 1-2+ years in customer service, preferably in a print, embroidery, or creative studio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (mock-ups, vector edits, file prep).
- Strong organization and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal).
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for scheduling and tracking.
- Preferred:
- Experience in print or embroidery production workflows.
- Familiarity with order management and invoicing systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $41,600 – $52,000 annually (equivalent to $20–$25/hour) based on experience.
- Eligible for quarterly performance-based bonuses in addition to base salary.
