We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Stuart, Florida. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in managing financial records, ensuring accurate payment processing, and supporting month-end procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in QuickBooks and general accounting practices.


Responsibilities:

• Review closing statements to verify accuracy and proper allocation of funds.

• Prepare and issue checks in accordance with company protocols.

• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and financial records.

• Complete verification and confirmation of payments to ensure accuracy.

• Process vendor payments and maintain organized records of transactions.

• Support month-end financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and maintain accurate financial data.

• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies in accounts.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial records and transactions.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with month-end reporting procedures.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract role.
