Procurement Specialist
PrideStaff is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a busy client in the Fort Myers area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00/hr. DOE
Location: Fort Myers
Procurement Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage material requisitions and procurement orders.
- Monitor procurement activities and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Address queries concerning orders and supplies.
- Validate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Correspond with suppliers through various channels, including telephone, email, and online portals.
- Ensure meticulous record-keeping and documentation.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
- Provide support to team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet daily objectives and deadlines.
- Review and edit documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Coordinate with sales and installation teams to facilitate efficient operations.
Procurement Specialist Job Requirements:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional multitasking abilities.
- Superior organizational and time management proficiencies.
- Rapid learning aptitude, coupled with a positive demeanor and strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to dynamic situations.
- Highly developed communication skills, both in written and oral formats.
- Fundamental knowledge of inventory control methodologies.
- Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to learning and development.
