Warehouse and Inventory Associate / Associado en bodegas e inventarios ( THIS POSITION OFFERS A SIGN-IN BONUS)

LATINFOOD Imports/Exports is seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse and Inventory Associate to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations. As a Warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your leadership will be crucial in optimizing our warehouse processes and meeting our goals.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Supervise a crew of about 5 people: pickers, hilo operators, etc.
Coordinate and monitor the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Implement and enforce warehouse operational policies and procedures.
Ensure the accuracy of inventory and maintain organized storage areas.
Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production and sales, to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, including cycle counting.
Identify and resolve any issues or delays in warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and prepare reports as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Warehouse and inventory lead, or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.
Basic computer applications, including iPad use.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet-jacks, Barcode scanners, etc.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move objects of at least 50 pounds.
